Pilot:
Compulsory for vessels over 500 GT, even for vessels staying at anchorage. Available on 24 hours a day basis. Calling VHF ch. 16 (working VHF ch. 12) one hour prior to ship’s ETA. Pilot Station 44° 52 2’ N / Long 13° 53 2’ E, Estimated time for docking from pilot on board is 40 minutes. Charged on vessel’s GT basis. OT: 22-06 Mon-Fri & Sat & Sun +50%, Hol +100%.

Restricted and forbidden zones:
From the alignment Prostina point Kumpar point to alignment Sveti Andrija island Sveti Petar peninsula vessels must sail at a speed of less than 8 knots, and from this zone onwards at a speed of not more than 5 knots. Vessels must pass the ships moored at Uljanik shipyard at the retest possible distance. Workboats with divers and frogmen onboard must be passed at minimum speed and with engines stopped. In the passage between Sveti Andrija and Sveta Katarina islands incoming vessels must give-way to vessels leaving port. In this passage vessels are forbidden to use sail as their only means of propulsion. Vessels must not approach within 50m of Sveti Andrija and Sveta Katarina islands and the mainland coast E of the end of the Fizela vela cove (Lucica) and the piers in Podstine cove at Kumpar point.

Wharfage:
Two berths available, Rijeka Quay and Ugljan Quay. Rijeka quay: length 150 m, depth alongside 4,00 m. The height of the pier above the MWL 1,70 m. Ugljan quay: length 160 m, depth alongside 6,50 m.

Anchorage:
About 0,4 miles W of St. Andrea island. Depth 12-14 m. Safe anchorage for all size cruisers. Approximately 1,5 NM to tender’s landing stage at Rijeka Quay, height of the quay above the MWL 1,70 m. Safe for night use. Landing can be made by ship’s launches. No levy payable for ship’s tenders. One or two can go alongside at any time. Estimated time for tender docking is 15 minutes.
