Pilot:
Compulsory for vessels over 500 GT, even for vessels staying at anchorage. Available on 24 hours a day basis. Calling VHF ch. 16 (working VHF ch. 12) one hour prior to ship’s ETA. Two Pilot Stations, both in Peljeski Channel. Pilotage Station for southbound ships; situated nearby Viganj settlement on Peljesac peninsular – 42° 58 4’ N / 17° 06’ E. Pilotage Station for northbound ships is situated nearby lighthouse on islet Vele Sestrice – 42° 58’ N / 17° 13’ E. Estimated time for docking from pilot on board is 25 minutes. Charged on vessel’s GT basis. OT: 22-06 Mon-Fri & Sat & Sun +50%, Hol +100%.

Mooring:
The W harbour affords shelter from winds blowing from the SE and SW quadrants. North-westerly raise a sea in this harbour and it is advisable to shift to the E harbour when such winds start blowing. The E harbour is protected from winds blowing from the SW and NW quadrants.

Wharfage:
Two berths available, eastern and western. Western berth: length 165 m, depth alongside 6,60 m. The height of the pier above the MWL 1,50 m. Strong NW wind can make departure from the western berth very difficult. Eastern berth: length 105 m, depth alongside 5,30 m. The height of the pier above the MWL 1,50 m.

Anchorage:
42° 58 2’ N / 17° 08 3’ E.
Safe and deep anchorage for all size cruisers. Diameter 850 m. Exposed to W wind mistral in the Summer, blowing in the afternoons. Approximately 1NM to tender’s berths at Western Berth of Korcula City port. Landing stage 4.000 square meters, height of the quay above the MWL 1,50 m. Safe for night use. Landing can be made by ship’s launches. No levy payable for ship’s tenders. One or two can go alongside at any time. Estimated time for tender docking is 10 minutes
